Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is a credentialed course. Providers who successfully complete the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course receive a course completion card valid for two years.
Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Description
The Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED course is designed for individuals with little or no medical training who need a CPR and First Aid certification for work, regulatory requirements, or personal preparedness. This American Heart Association (AHA)–approved course teaches participants how to recognize and respond to life-threatening emergencies involving adults, children, and infants.
What You’ll Learn:

How to respond to common first aid emergencies: bleeding, sprains, burns, choking, and more

How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

This course is designed for lay responders, workplace staff, and community members with little to no medical background.

Same-day or walk-in options may be limited depending on availability

Minimum Age Recommendation: 12+

While there is no strict age limit, students should be mature enough to understand and perform the skills taught

You must actively participate in CPR, AED, and first aid skills practice sessions

Demonstrating key skills is required for certification
